The Ezerlūķi Castle Mound is about 30 m high. It stands on the east bank of the Lake Zebrus. An ancient Latvian castle was once built on this hillock.

A legend says that there was the God or Priests’ road which led from the Elku Hill across the lake to the Ezerlūķi Castle Mound. Along the under-water road the Priests, whenever in danger, could reach the Castle Mound and have a shelter in its sconce. Nowadays this road is said to be used  by  wild animals.
